A local family business
Moen Plumbing is family-owned and -operated, based out of Snohomish. Owner Trent Moen lives on a small farm here with his wife and two young daughters — his family settled around Snohomish in the early 1900s, and he is invested in this community.
Trent comes from a long line of builders. In 2012, after more than a decade in the field, he started Moen Plumbing, bringing extensive knowledge of service and new construction work, residential and commercial: custom homes, schools, strip malls, apartment buildings, high-rises and more.
We keep a fully stocked shop, along with a service van, a truck and a backhoe, for quick service. Trent values hard work and efficiency — and just as much, building trusting, long-lasting relationships with the people we work for.

Trent is a likable, hardworking guy who is smart - and extremely honest and ethical. He went above and beyond our expectations when repairing our side sewer line. Questions we hear often
What kind of plumbing work do you do?
New construction and remodels; electric, gas and tankless water heaters; ADA bathroom updates; in-floor heat; gas lines; sewer line repair and replacement; camera sewer inspections; and drain cleaning. We do it for homes and for businesses.
Do you take commercial work?
Yes. Trent’s experience covers custom homes, schools, strip malls, apartment buildings and high-rise buildings, in both new construction and service and repair.
Should I switch to a tankless water heater?
It depends on your building and how many people are using it. Electric, gas and tankless heaters all have their benefits, and a remodel is often a good time to look at it. Call us and we will help you make the right choice.
Is it worth replacing old pipe during a remodel?
Often, yes. Galvanized pipe corrodes, which can mean low water pressure and lead in your drinking water, and copper can develop pinholes over time from poor water quality. ABS and PEX are much less likely to leak, and it is far easier to replace pipe while the walls are already open.
How do you find a problem in a sewer line?
With a camera in the pipe. It shows us exactly what and where the problem is — roots in a clay or concrete line, or an old concrete pipe worn through at the bottom — so we can fix that spot, or replace the whole line if it has to be. It is also how we find a sewer line when you need to know where it runs.

Yes. Moen Plumbing LLC holds Washington plumbing contractor licence #MOENPPL792OA with the Department of Labor & Industries, and Trent is a certified plumber (MOEN*TT918DW).
